Status
Service status
This page explains where to find Deltaship's live status and how we tell you about maintenance. It does not show live data itself.
Where incidents are posted
Deltaship does not run a live status service yet. Incidents and maintenance will be posted at [OWNER: where incidents are posted: a hosted status page, a channel or a mailing list]; until that exists, they are announced to studios by email and in the dashboard. Targets and how they are measured are on the service levels page, and you can always reach us through Support.
What is monitored
Each of these is checked from outside Deltaship every few minutes. They are also what the uptime target covers.
| Service | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Studio dashboard | Signing in and the dashboard pages at app.deltaship.dev |
| API | The services the Unreal plugin and launchers talk to: uploads, sign-in, release checks |
| Player downloads | Installs and updates through studios' launchers |
| Launcher updates | The update feeds launchers use to update themselves |
How maintenance is announced
Planned maintenance is announced in advance, in two places:
- on the live status page, with its time window;
- in studios' launchers, when a studio posts a maintenance alert for its players in the news. The alert shows its time window and is marked as happening now while it runs.
Maintenance announced this way is not counted against the uptime target.
What players see during an outage
Installed games keep working. If downloads are unavailable, the launcher says so and lets players start the version they have; updates resume once service is back.
