White-label distribution for game and app studios

Ship your games and apps under your own name.

Games, architectural walkthroughs, training apps and product showrooms: Deltaship gives each one your own branded desktop launcher, small delta patches and a release dashboard, without building the infrastructure yourself. Built in for Unreal Engine, open to any engine.

How it works

Patch. Ship. Launch.

From a packaged build to a player pressing Play, in three steps.

  1. 01Unreal plugin or command line

    Make it patch-ready

Package your game or app as usual. In Unreal Engine, run it through the Deltaship plugin, free on Fab; from any other engine, use the command-line publisher. Prepare a patch-ready build, verify it and see the patch size players would download.

  2. 02Studio dashboard

    Publish it in Studio

Create a release and drop in the build. Only what changed since your last release is uploaded. Choose which version is live on each channel.

  3. 03Your launcher

    Players hit Play

Your branded launcher picks up the new version, downloads only what changed, verifies it and opens the game or app.

Not just games

One launcher for every app you ship

Interactive architecture, classroom science, car configurators and machine training ship the same way games do. Start from a template made for your field, then make it yours in the launcher designer: your words, your colours, your art. Each template below shows a fictional client's brand.

  • Architectural visualisation

    Atelier

Send every client walkthrough in one branded app, with revisions they can follow.

Sample: Northlight Visualisation · Casa Alba

  • Training and education

    Campus

Start a class in one click, on every machine in the lab, even offline.

    Sample: Brightfield Learning · Orbit

  • Automotive and premium products

    Showroom

Put your product on the showroom screen, ready to present.

    Sample: Veloran · Aster GT

  • Industrial demos and training

    Exhibit

Ship demos, training and manuals for a whole product line, always the latest version.

Sample: Halden Robotics · Cobalt C7

Features

Everything a platform launcher does, under your brand

Delta patching

Every update ships only what changed. Players download the difference, not the whole game again, and you upload only the difference too.

Visual launcher designer

Drag and drop your launcher in the browser: hero art in layers, buttons that open the app in a chosen mode, galleries, specifications, carousels, video. Start from a game or app template; sound, music and a colour per title on Pro and up.

White-label launcher

Your name, icon, installer art and accent color on a desktop app that updates itself. On Starter and up, the “Powered by Deltaship” mark comes off, so players see your studio, not ours.

Hosted on Deltaship Cloud

Nothing to set up: storage and global delivery are included, with no egress fees for player downloads. On Pro and up, serve your game files from your own bucket instead.

Studio isolation and integrity

Each studio gets its own space, users and launcher. Every release is signed, and every update is verified before the game runs.

Team and release management

Invite your team as owners, admins, developers or viewers. Keep every release on record and choose which version is live; beta channels on Starter and up.

News and patch notes

Write news and patch notes once, schedule them, and they open inside your launcher and on your studio's public pages. Maintenance alerts reach every launcher.

Verify and repair

Players can check an install in one click: the launcher re-downloads only the files that are missing or damaged and says what it fixed.

Six languages, including Arabic

Your launcher speaks English, Arabic (right to left), Spanish, French, German and Brazilian Portuguese. It follows the player's system language, and players can switch in Settings. You choose which of them your launcher offers in the launcher builder.

Publish from CI

Release straight from your build machine, from Unreal or any other engine, with the Deltaship GitHub Action or the command-line publisher. Included on every plan.

Launcher designs

Pick a design. Make it yours.

In the visual launcher builder your studio picks a design, then applies its name, logo, key art and accent color. What you see below is Ironvale's launcher for Hollow Meridian, drawn by the same screens players run. On Pro and up, arrange the layout too. Players choose from six languages, Arabic included and laid out right to left. Publishing reaches every installed launcher on its next start, with no reinstall.

Studio accent
Launcher state

Default. The Deltaship design system: dark surfaces, a lime accent and Archivo type.

Publish from CI

Release from your build machine

Publishing from CI is included on every plan. Package as you already do (Unreal Engine with BuildCookRun, Unity, Godot or your own engine) on a self-hosted or hosted runner, then publish the build folder in one step. Only what changed is uploaded, and the release waits as a draft until you publish it in the dashboard.

  • GitHub Action. A few lines of YAML and no install step, on GitHub-hosted or self-hosted runners.
  • Command-line publisher. One file that needs only Node 22, for any CI system, any engine and any build PC.
  • Your token stays yours. It comes from your CI secrets and is only ever sent to Deltaship.
  • Same checks as the plugin. Prepare, verify and see the update size players will download before anything goes live.

Patching and versioning

Ship the difference, not the whole game

Delta patching works in both directions. Your players download only what changed, and your team uploads only what changed, so releases are faster and storage stays lean.

What moves when you ship 1.4.2Uploaded by you, downloaded by players
Full gameUpdate 1.4.2

Illustration, not to scale. Everything that didn't change stays where it is, on Deltaship Cloud and on players' machines.

For players

Delta updates

Players download only what's new since the version they have, from any older version straight to the latest. Small fixes stay small downloads.

For your team

Upload only the changes

Each release sends only what changed, so uploads finish faster and storage doesn't fill up with copies of the same game. The plugin shows the patch size before you publish.

Versioning

Every release, on record

Keep each version and choose which one is live. Beta channels on Starter and up, custom channels on Pro and up, and publishing from CI on every plan.

Reliability

Verified and resumable

Updates are verified before the game starts, interrupted downloads pick up where they left off, and the launcher keeps itself up to date.

Hosting

Hosted for you, with no egress fees

Every game on Deltaship is hosted on Deltaship Cloud: storage and global delivery are part of your plan, with nothing to configure. Delta patching, verification and your branded launcher work out of the box.

Deltaship Cloud

Included on every plan.
Available now
  • No egress fees. You never pay per gigabyte your players download. Each plan lists a fair-use download allowance.
  • Ready when you sign up. No buckets, keys or permissions to set up.
  • Fast downloads worldwide. Updates reach players through global delivery.
  • Storage included. Every plan comes with hosted storage, with more as you move up.

Your own storage

On Pro and up.
Available now

For studios with existing cloud contracts or compliance needs: serve your game files from your own bucket. Players still download only what changed, every file is still verified, and the files do not count toward your plan's storage.

  • Cloudflare R2
  • Amazon S3
  • Google Cloud Storage
  • Other S3-compatible
  • Azure Blob StoragePlanned
Connect a bucket from the Storage page in your studio. Deltaship tests it before saving.

Storage, request and CDN fees are not included, and your actual rates may differ. Deltaship Cloud charges no egress fees; player downloads count toward your plan's fair-use allowance.

FAQ

Questions studios ask first

Do my players need a Deltaship account?

No. Players sign in to your launcher with accounts that belong to your studio, or play without signing in if you switch login off. Deltaship never gets in their way.

Do I need Unreal Engine?

No. Unreal Engine teams get a free plugin built into the editor; every other engine (Unity, Godot or your own) publishes its packaged build with the command-line publisher or the GitHub Action. The launcher installs, patches and opens any Windows build.

Is it only for games?

No. Architectural walkthroughs, training and classroom apps, car configurators and industrial demos ship the same way, and the launcher designer has templates for each, with words that fit (Open walkthrough, Start, Enter showroom).

Is the Unreal plugin free?

Yes, it is free on Fab. Without an account it prepares a patch-ready build, verifies it and previews the patch size players would download. Signing in adds publishing to your studio.

Which Unreal Engine versions are supported?

The editor plugin supports Unreal Engine 5.5 to 5.8.

Can I keep my builds in my own cloud?

Yes, on Pro and up: connect Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage or another S3-compatible bucket and your game files are served from it. Azure Blob Storage is planned. On every plan, Deltaship Cloud hosts your games with no egress fees.

How small will my patches be?

It depends on what changed. Players only download what differs from the version they already have, so a small fix stays a small download. The plugin shows the expected patch size before you publish.

What happens when I reach a plan limit?

A limit only blocks the next thing that would grow usage, such as an upload, an invite or a new game. It never stops a live release from installing or patching for your players.

Can I remove the Deltaship branding?

Yes, on Starter and up. The Free plan shows a small “Powered by Deltaship” mark in your launcher; paid plans remove it.

Does Deltaship replace Steam or Epic?

It's for the builds you distribute yourself: private betas, direct-to-player releases, client walkthroughs, and simulation, VR or training apps that can't go through a public store. You can still ship on stores as well.

What uptime does Deltaship aim for?

99.9% a month for player downloads and the dashboard, measured from outside, with announced maintenance excluded. Installed games keep working during an outage. Service levels and support targets. Service status.

Can I publish from CI?

Yes, on every plan. Use the Deltaship GitHub Action or the command-line publisher with the same publish tokens as the plugin. It works with any engine on hosted or self-hosted runners, and each release waits as a draft until you publish it.

How are payments handled?

Plans are paid in the Studio dashboard. Paddle handles payments as our merchant of record, including sales tax, VAT and invoices. Nothing is ever billed inside the Unreal plugin or your launcher.

What if a download is interrupted?

The launcher picks up where it left off and verifies the update before it starts the game. If an update cannot finish, it keeps what it has already verified and carries on from there the next time.
